|
Disconnect vacuum hose 2 (Fig. 6.18) from the vacuum chamber. 1 Remove the two screws attaching the base of the vacuum chamber and take the camera away.
All models Remove the protective cover from the top of the front suspension struts. Install the support bar 10-222 on the top of the front suspension struts. Install adapter 10-222A / 2 on the support bar 10-222 3147 capture and secure the adapter to the lifting eyes of the engine. Turn the screw of the lifting device, tighten the grip so that the engine weight was perceived by the elevating device.

|
Remove the two screws (see. Fig. 6.16) mounting brackets to support the piping to the automatic transmission.
All models Release the clamps, remove and move aside the wires from the starter housing. On the front side of the engine, remove the bolts compensator reactive torque and bolt hose clamps of the cooling system. On the left side of the oil pan, disconnect the electrical connector from the oil pressure sensor. Disconnect water hoses oil heat exchanger.

All models Remove the bolts transmission to the engine near the upper section of the oil pan.
| Fig. 6.24. Location bolts the upper section of the oil pan
|
Remove the bolts the upper section of the oil pan (Fig. 6.24). Remove the upper section of the oil pan with the centering cylinder sleeves. Move the upper section of the oil pan down and remove it from the bottom of the car. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal, taking into account the following. When you install must be replaced with new all gaskets, O-rings and self-locking nuts.
Cars manufactured before 04.97 Plastic or wooden scraper to remove any remnants of the old gasket mating surface of the upper and lower section of the oil pan. Place the upper section of the oil pan with the gasket.
Automobile production from 04.97 Plastic or wooden scraper to remove any remnants of the old gasket mating surface of the engine. With round metal brush, impaled on an electric drill, clean the sealant from the oil pan.
| Fig. 6.25. Place the sealant is applied to the gasket surface of the upper section of the oil pan
|
Apply a bead of sealant D176 404 A2 3 mm in diameter on the surface of the oil pan gasket (Fig. 6.25). After applying sealant sump must be installed for 5 min. Bead of sealant should have a diameter of less than 3 mm, as excess sealant may get into the oil and clog the mesh maslozabornik.
All models Crosswise pre-tighten the bolts fastening the upper section of the oil pan 5 Nm. Tighten the upper section of the oil pan to the transmission torque of 45 Nm. Finally tighten the bolts securing the top section of the oil pan to the cylinder block to 10 N ? m. Install the oil pump. Install the lower section of the oil pan. Set the sub-frame. Fill in cooling liquid. Connect a wire of "weight" to the battery. Turn on the radio and enter the code. Lift up the power window glass until it stops. Then click on all window switches again for at least 1, in the closed position of the control unit to activate windows. Set the clock.
