Installing the lower section of the oil pallet
Made in sequence, return to removal.
NOTE When installing it is necessary to replace all seals. |
On engines with a gasket on the bottom section of the oil pan, check the condition and location of the pads. Plastic or wooden scraper to remove any remnants of the old gasket mating surface of the upper and lower sections of the oil pan. With round metal brush, impaled on an electric drill, clean the sealant from the oil pan.

Apply a bead of sealant D176 404 A2 3 mm in diameter on the surface of the oil pan gasket (Fig. 6.36). After applying sealant sump must be set for 5 minutes and allow the sealant to harden for 30 minutes. Only then can be poured into the engine motor oil. Bead of sealant should have a diameter of less than 3 mm, as excess sealant may get into the oil and clog the mesh maslozabornik. Evenly diagonally Tighten the oil pan. On engines with a gasket on the bottom section of the oil pan not overtighten, as otherwise deformed oil pan gasket. On engines where the lower section is mounted on the oil pan sealing, tighten the bolts initially to 5 Nm and then finally to 10 Nm. Fill in cooling liquid.
