Remove the front wheel.

Location bolts tie rod to the steering knuckle

Remove the bolts 1 and 2 (see. Fig. 14.13) fixing of steering drafts in rotary fists and squeeze down the tie rods.

Remove the plastic nut 1 (see. Fig. 14.14), 2 release clamps and remove the casing of a steering rod.
Loosen the hose clamps and slide as far as possible, cover of steering draft.

Using adaptation VAG 1923 to loosen the tie rod from the steering mechanism

Adaptation VAG 1923, remove the tie rod from the steering mechanism (Fig. 14.19).
If necessary, remove and replace the protective cover of steering draft.
