Withdrawal



Before disconnecting the battery, check whether you have the code switch on the radio.

All models
Remove the rubber seal waterproof housing at the rear of the engine compartment.

Remove the waterproof housing 1 (Fig. 9.16).
Switch off the ignition and disconnect a wire of "weight" from the storage battery.
Remove the four screws and remove the engine cover.

Remove the screws and remove the engine cover (see. Fig. 3.2.1, 3.4.1).

All models, except for engines 2.7l-5V
Remove the cover over the air filter.

Remove the air tube 1 (Fig. 9.17), which connects the air filter and the front transverse panel.
Unplug electrical connector 2 and pull, remove the valve ACF.
Disconnect the electrical connector 3 from air mass meter.
Loosen the hose clamps and remove the air pipe 4 connecting the air filter housing and the suction line.
Remove the cover from the air filter housing.
Remove the expansion tank and move it aside.
3337 special tool, remove the lambda probe from the left and right exhaust pipes and move them aside.
Remove the nuts tops a reception exhaust pipe.
Install the support bar 10-222A on the bearing surfaces of the front suspension struts.
Install adapter 10-222A / 3 on the support bar 10-222A and secure capture adapter for engine lifting eye.
Turn the screw of the lifting device, tighten the grip so that the engine weight was perceived by the elevating device.
Lift up the vehicle.
Remove the front wheels.

Remove the screws indicated by arrows in Fig. 9.3, and remove the bottom mudguard of a motor compartment.

Unscrew and remove the thermofilters left and right drive shafts (Fig. 9.18).
Loosen the screws and disconnect the internal hinge drive shafts from the gearbox (Fig. 9.18). Using a soft wire, suspend the drive shafts to a body.
Remove from the front of the gearbox engine speed sensor G28 and take him aside.

Disconnect from a transmission sensor electrical connector speedometer (Fig. 9.19).

Disconnect the electrical connector 1 (Fig. 9.20) from the multifunction switch.
2 Turn the lock and disconnect the electrical connector shielded cable from the gearbox.

All models, except for engines 2.7l-5V
Remove the starter.

Through the hole opened after removing the starter, remove the three bolts securing the converter (Fig. 9.21). To access the bolt each subsequent turn the crankshaft 1/3 turn in the direction of its working rotation at central bolt of crankshaft pulley.

Vehicles with six-cylinder engines, except engines 2.7l-5V

Disconnect the pipe 1 (fig. 9.22) ventilation generator.
Remove the bolt clamp 2 oil pipeline automatic transmission.

Disconnect oil lines 1 (Fig. 9.23) from the heat exchanger.
3 Remove the bolt bracket oil pipelines.
Remove the starter mounting bolts to the transmission.

Vehicles with four-cylinder engines
Remove the bolt arm of the oil pipeline to the bottom of the car.
Remove the bolt and remove the oil from the transmission lines.

All-wheel drive vehicles
Remove thermofilter propeller shaft. If necessary, remove the center and rear mufflers.
Remove the screws, remove the propeller shaft from the transfer case and a soft wire fix the bracket of fuel tubes.

All models
Fix a transmission jack special tool, install a transmission jack and lift so that the weight of the gearbox perceived jack.
In the absence of special tools for removal of the gearbox support a transmission a jack through wooden bar.
Remove the bolts left and right support automatic transmission.

Unscrew the multifunction switch F125 and move it to the side (Fig. 9.24).

Remove the bracket bolts selector lever cable to the transmission housing and remove the bracket (Fig. 9.25).

The special tool 80-200 disconnect a cable of the selector lever on the gear selection shaft (Fig. 9.26). (4) Vehicles with a six-cylinder diesel engines

On some turns unscrew the screw A (Fig. 9.27) on the back of the turbocharger, turn the rack in a clockwise direction and tighten the bolt A.

Before removing the sub-frame 3393 a special tool, check that the holes 1 and 2 combined (Fig. 9.28).

Remove bolts 1 and 2 (Fig. 9.29) in the rear part of the sub-frame on both sides of the vehicle.
Remove bolts 3 (see. Fig. 9.29) in front of the sub-frame on both sides of the vehicle.
Lower the sub-frame 150 mm, releasing before the end of the bolts (3) mounting frame.
Carefully lower the rear part of the bit transmissions.
Remove a reception exhaust pipe.
By supporting the front part of the gearbox, remove the upper bolts of a transmission to the engine.

Take the transmission from the engine by pushing the torque converter to the engine mount (Fig. 9.30).
Secure the torque converter to the engine.
Turn while dropping, remove the transmission between the sub-frame and the car body.
Carefully lower the gearbox and pull it out from under the car.
