Problems with brakes
The brake system of your vehicle is equipped with a vacuum booster and quite effective. Reduced effectiveness of the braking, skidding when braking should be a signal for emergency brake testing.
A WARNING Regularly check the brake fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir. The brake fluid level should be about a label ?MAX? on the body of the tank. |
Fluid level indicates a leak of brake fluid from the system, or excessive wear on the brake pads. If the dash lit the lamp indicating a low level of brake fluid, take the time to add it immediately, first check the thickness of the brake linings may be that the time has come to replace the pads? Car manufacturers recommend that after 30 000 km or 3 years (whichever comes first) change all brake fluid in the system. Some drivers ignore this advice because the liquid in the tank it seems pretty clear, and it is in vain. The fact that the brake fluid is very hygroscopic: it absorbs moisture from the air which is eventually not only destroys the surface of the brake cylinders, pipelines, and as a consequence, leads to premature failure of the units braking system, but also greatly reduces the boiling point of brake fluid . The normal boiling point of the brake fluid class DOT-4-210-260 ? C. With frequent heavy braking disc brakes are very hot, and at high water content of the brake fluid can boil that usually leads to failure of brakes.
HELPFUL ADVICE In order not to expose themselves to future unforeseen repair expenses, not only the braking system, but the whole car, it is better to replace the liquid in a timely manner in the brake system. We recommend replacing the brake fluid 2 years. |
