Replacing the arm front suspension
You will need: the keys "12", "14", "17", "19", "22" face head "12", Round, Ball joint puller. 1. slow down the car and set the parking brake, wheel chocks ("shoes") under the rear wheels. Lift the front of the car jack and set it on supports. Remove the wheel. A WARNING Loosen or tighten the wheel bolts only on the car standing on the earth. |

| | 6. Remove the nut screw front support arm ... | 7. ... remove the washer, remove the screw together with the second washer ... |
HELPFUL ADVICE If the bolt is not removed, knock it out of the bracket body, hitting the back of the arm. |
8. ... and remove the lever assembly with the ball. NOTE Since the original front suspension lower control arms are supplied in parts assembled with the ball, and the hub Hobs back support, further dismantling of the lever does not make sense. You can only remove the parts are delivered separately in a sleeve of a back support that is easy to knock off the axle with a hammer. |
9. Install the parts in reverse order of removal, without tightening definitively fixing rubber hinge arm and stabilizer bar. 10. Lower the car to the ground several times strongly Push it. Finally tighten the screw connections of suspension on the car standing on the earth, the values given in Appendix 1.
NOTE After replacing the ball joint front axle, check and, if necessary, adjust the wheel alignment. Take advantage of workshops, have special equipment. |
