Check the oil pressure sensor
If the control lamp of emergency pressure drop of oil (Oil Pressure) illuminates when the key is in the switch (lock) switch is in the ?ON?, and goes out after starting the engine and when operating at idle, then the oil pressure measuring system is working. If the warning light does not come on after the ignition key is turned to position ?ON?, check if the switch (lock) of ignition, warning lamp, an electric circuit and a corresponding sensor. Remove the oil pressure gauge.

An ohmmeter check up conductivity of a chain between the terminal and the housing of the sensor and in the absence of conductivity replace the sensor (Fig. 2.98).

An ohmmeter check up conductivity of a chain between the terminal and the housing of the sensor while pressing into the sensor thin wire (Fig. 2.99). If the conductivity is available even when the indentation of a thin wire, replace the sensor. If conductivity is absent when the sensor is attached to the opening underpressure 50 kPa, the sensor is working properly. Check for air leaks through the sensor. If the leak is, then, the membrane is damaged, and the sensor must be replaced.
