Measurement of dimensions
1. Basically, all the measurements are taken by a sensor tracking. 2. If you use a tape measure, make sure that it is not stretched, not curled or bent. 3. For the measurement of dimensions are used as the projected and actual sizes.
Projected size - these are the dimensions that are measured when the measurement points are projected onto a support surface, as well as reference dimensions used for the changes of the body. If the length of the probe sensor tracking is adjusted, perform measurement by extending a probe by an amount equivalent to the difference of the height of the two surfaces.
The actual size - is the size of showing the actual distance between the measurement points and which are the reference dimensions. They are used when the sensor is used to measure the tracking. Measure the distance by adjusting both the first probe to the same length. Measurements should be made between the centers of the holes.
A WARNING Check the probes and the sensor itself, to ensure that no backlash. |
