Withdrawal
Disconnect the ventilation hose from the positive crankcase ventilation valve (PCV). Remove the PCV valve from the cylinder head cover and reconnect the hose to the air.

Checking the vacuum in the intake manifold
Fig. 2.165. Checking the vacuum in the intake manifold

Start up the engine, let it idle and put a finger to the open edge of the valve PCV, make sure you have the vacuum in the intake manifold (Fig. 2.165).
If vacuum is not felt, clean the PCV valve and breather hose special solvent or replace them.

Check
Remove the PCV valve.

Use a thin stick to check the movement of the valve plug (1) positive crankcase ventilation
Fig. 2.166. Use a thin stick to check the movement of the valve plug (1) positive crankcase ventilation

To make sure that the plunger moves, insert a thin rod into the PCV valve from the threaded portion (Fig. 2.166).
If the plunger does not move, then PCV valve is clogged. Clean or replace the valve.
Install the PCV valve and tighten torque 8-12 Nm. ?
