Malfunctions in the system start-up
Malfunctions in the system start-up manifested in a malfunction starter. We can distinguish the following basic malfunctions of a starter. 1. Starter does not turn on. The reason - violation of contact connections, open or short circuit in the starter, the traction relay fault. |
2. When the starter heard multiple clicks. The reason - the fault holding winding traction relay heavily discharged battery, loose terminal connections in the starter circuit. |
3. The starter is turned on, but his anchor or does not rotate, or rotates slowly. The reason - the battery is low, breach of contact connections, scorching contacts of the traction relay, pollution collector or brush wear, or interturn short circuit in the windings. |
4. The starter is activated, its anchor is rotated, but the flywheel does not move. The reason - the loosening of the starter to the clutch housing, damage to the teeth of the flywheel or drive gear, slipping the overrunning clutch actuator arm damage, flanged sleeves or buffer spring starter motor. |
5. The starter does not turn off after starting the engine. The reason - the failure of the overrunning clutch starter, sticking contacts of the traction relay. In the event of a fault, stop the engine immediately! |
These faults require the intervention of a qualified service station or back to the garage (see. "Starter"). Pre can only check the degree of discharge of the battery (using avtotestera) ... ... and the tightness of contact connections in a chain of a starter.
