Problems with brakes
The brake system of your vehicle is equipped with a vacuum booster and quite effective. Reduced effectiveness of the braking, skidding when braking point to the need of urgent brake testing.
A WARNING Regularly check the brake fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir. It must be between the ?MAX? and ?MIN? on the body of the master cylinder reservoir. |
Fluid level indicates a leak of brake fluid from the system, or excessive wear on the brake pads. So take your time just to add a liquid, first check the thickness of the brake linings may be that the time has come to replace the pads? The manufacturer recommends car 30 000 km or 1 year (whichever comes first) to replace all the brake fluid in the system. Some drivers ignore this advice because the liquid in the tank it seems pretty clear, and it is in vain. The fact that the brake fluid is very hygroscopic: it absorbs moisture from the air, and this moisture over time, not only destroys the surface of the brake cylinders, pipelines, and as a consequence, leads to premature failure of the units braking system, but also greatly reduces the boiling point brake fluid. With frequent heavy braking the front wheel disc brakes become very hot, and at high water content of the brake fluid can boil that usually leads to failure of brakes.
HELPFUL ADVICE In order not to expose themselves to future unforeseen repair expenses, not only the braking system, but the whole car, it is better to replace the liquid in a timely manner in the brake system. We recommend doing this every spring. |
If you have problems with the brakes, bleed the brake system. If this does not give the desired result, you must carefully check the entire brake system, as described below (see. "Check braking system").
