By car applied electrical DC nominal voltage of 12 V, made on a single scheme: the negative side of the power and electricity consumers are connected to "weight", which serves as a second conductor. The role of the "masses" carries the car body. Power supply is carried out from the battery (with the engine off) and generator (engine running).

For basic switching circuits is a combination switch (lock) of ignition consisting of the contact group and mechanical anti-theft device with a lock.
