Greases

Greases are used to reduce friction and, consequently, to reduce the wear of the nodes of a vehicle, in which it is impossible or impractical to create a circulation of oil. Grease easily penetrates into the contact friction parts and is held on the surface thereof. The main advantages of greases - wide compared to motor oil temperature range, the ability does not follow and is not squeezed out of the unsealed friction units. Lack greases - retention of mechanical and corrosion, which increase the rate of destruction of the friction surfaces, and hence impair removal of heat from the lubricated parts.

When selecting greases specific host vehicle should know their physical characteristics, the effectiveness of the lubrication of friction surfaces, and compatibility with the materials in contact with the lubricant.
