Replacement of the contact group and the mechanical part of the switch (lock) of ignition
You will need: Phillips screwdriver with a blade, drill, drill. 1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery. |
| | | 3. Cut the plastic clip on the wiring harness to the steering column. |
NOTE When installing be sure to replace the new clamp. |
| | 4. Remove the adhesive tape connecting harnesses the contact group and the immobilizer antenna unit. | 5. Press the clip and disconnect the wiring harness connector contact group switch (lock) of ignition. |
| | 6. Remove the screw fastening ... | 7. ... and remove the contact group. |
| | 8. Disconnect the harness connector of the antenna unit of the immobilizer. | 9. Remove the two screws securing the encoder key ... |
| | 10. ... and disconnect the sensor from the housing of the ignition switch. | 11. Remove the screw fastening the antenna unit to the ignition lock ... |
| | 12. ... and remove the block. | 13. Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it a quarter turn (to demonstrate the removal of the steering column). |
| | 14. Press the lock ... | 15. ... and pull the switch (lock) of ignition from the case. |
16. Removal of the body switch (lock) of ignition from the steering column to use is generally not required because the switch can be completely disassembled directly on the car. If necessary, remove (for example, replace the steering column), remove the steering column (see. "Replacement steering shaft"). |
| 17. Drill heads of two screws to the steering column switch. |
18. Install the parts in reverse order of removal. |
