Installation of the headrest to the central passenger seat in the back seat
If the center head restraint is not installed in the operating position, carrying passengers on a central location in the rear seat is dangerous. In the absence or incorrect adjustment of the head restraint sharp deviation head back while hitting the car from behind will result in severe neck injuries. Headrest must always be in the operating position, if the central location is in the back seat passenger. Verify proper installation of the central headrest.
To install the head restraint into the operating position, pull it up until it engages. to lower the head restraint in the off position, press the release button, and then press down on the headrest (Fig. 1.126).
