Spare wheel

Mazda vehicles can be equipped as a small-sized spare wheel and spare wheel, unified with the rest of the wheels of the car.

The car is equipped with a spare wheel with a tire of the same type, dimension and models that are installed on the remaining four wheels of the car. This allows the use of a spare wheel for replacing damaged wheel and the periodic rearrangement wheels.

Small-size spare tire.

SMALL wheel is intended solely for short-term use in the event of damage to the car wheel. Do not use small-sized wheel for long movement over long distances.

When using small-sized spare wheel stability of the vehicle deteriorates, therefore, driving a car, be especially careful. To avoid damage to small-sized spare wheel or a car, take the following precautions.

- Do not exceed the speed of 80 km / h.

- Avoid crossing over obstacles on the road. Also, do not drive the mechanized car wash. Since the diameter of the small-sized wheels smaller than regular wheels, ground clearance reduced by about 10-25 mm.

- Do not install the spare tire on the snow chain.

- Do not install small-sized spare wheel on the cars of other makes and models.

To get the spare wheel (cars with a body "sedan"), follow these steps (Fig. 1.162).

1. Remove the luggage compartment floor panel.

To remove the spare wheel (cars with a body "hatchback"), proceed as follows (Fig. 1.163).
