Removal and installation of the fuel injector
Withdrawal Remove the battery cover. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the air filter. Disconnect the fuel injector connector. Remove the quick connector. Remove the fuel rail.

ATTENTION If the flange of the fuel injector or the fuel distributor element with a coating is damaged, it can cause fuel leakage. To prevent damage to remove the fuel injector clamp carefully (Fig. 2.325). |
Using strain clamp the fuel injector can cause improper installation of the fuel injector and fuel leakage. After removing the fuel injector replace the new clip.

Peel one side of the clamping flange from the fuel injector fuel injector (Fig. 2.326).

Hold removed during the first operation side clamp the fuel injector to prevent it re-locks into place, remove the other side of the clamp the fuel injector (Fig. 2.327).

Remove the fuel injector clip by sliding it in the axial direction (Fig. 2.328).
