Check current at the generator
Make sure the battery is fully charged. Make sure that the belt tension and deflection generator at the standard value. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Set the ammeter between terminal B and terminal. Attach the wire to the negative terminal of the battery. Turn off all electrical consumers. Start the engine and set the engine speed - 2000-2500 rpm 1, Measure the current output generator. Measurements are made on a "hot" engine with an air temperature of 20 ? C and a voltage across the terminals of 13.5 V. Current: at 1000 min -1 - 0-75 A; at 2000 min-1 - 0-98 A. Include the following electricity consumers, one after another: - Headlights; - Electric fan heater; - Rear window heater. Make sure that the current drawn from the generator output to a gradually increasing. If the current does not increase, repair or replace the generator.
