Check the thread for heated rear window
Turn the ignition switch to ON. Turn on the rear window heater.

ATTENTION Tapping the thread rear window defogger probe tester can cause damage to the thread. Wrap aluminum foil around the end of the probe and check the thread touching her foil (Fig. 7.90); |

Connect the positive probe of the tester to the positive end of each wire, and the negative probe to body weight (Fig. 7.91); Move the positive probe from the positive to the negative end of the thread, make sure that the voltage is reduced accordingly. If the voltage changes rapidly, the thread is faulty. Repair thread.
