Vacuum brake booster

Vacuum brake booster reduces the force on the brake pedal, making it easier to drive the car. The servo used diaphragm, both sides of which under normal operation a vacuum. During braking on one side of the diaphragm air is supplied to form at atmospheric pressure. Due to the pressure difference, passed through the diaphragm, the plunger moves towards the vacuum (or vacuum), providing a supporting force for braking. When the brake pedal is released, the air is evacuated from the cavity of the amplifier through a check valve, creating a vacuum.
