Pyrotechnic device installed in the seatbelt buckle, provides in the case of car collision instant belt tension and serves as a means of passive safety (Fig. 9.52, 9.54).

A WARNING

After removing the pyrotechnic device or subject it to shocks, do not leave in the sun and do not expose to heat. When replacing parts, use only designed for the model of the car, including seat belts, electronics and connecting wires. Before beginning work, disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
