Overview
Braking system with hydraulic drive consists of two independent circuits, divided diagonally (left front - right rear, right front - left rear wheel). Front brakes with ventilated discs, rear - drum. The structure of a hydraulic drive of working brake system includes a brake master cylinder pressure regulator rear brakes, vacuum booster and, depending on the version, the anti-lock system (ABS). If you have used ABS disc rear brakes. Pressure regulators for vehicles with ABS installed on the rear axle. On vehicles with a diesel engine in the braking system also includes a vacuum pump. | Fig. 7.1. Vacuum pump for diesel engines mounted behind CD20 generator shaft. On diesel engines CD20E vacuum pump is mounted on the cylinder head and is driven by the camshaft. Details of the vacuum amplifier shown in Fig. 7.4. The parking brake system with manual rope acts on the brakes of the rear wheels. Lever when a force of 200 N should move 7-8 teeth ratchet. Anti-lock brakes brand Nippon Denso with electronic control unit can be mounted on all models of cars. The structure includes ABS: - An electronic control unit integrated in the hydraulic unit, located in the front of the engine compartment on the left. The electronic control unit (ECU) controls the solenoid valve using the pressure in the brake mechanisms, preventing the wheels from locking. The appearance of the tendency to lock one or more wheels is determined by the rotational speed sensors of the front and rear wheels. Also, the computer receives information about the brake pedal is depressed by the brake light switch; - Four inductive speed sensor front and rear wheels; - Relay control and protection against voltage surges in the on-board network; - Warning light system is located in the instrument cluster.

- Speed sensors front and rear wheels of the inductive type, are mounted on the steering knuckle of the front wheels and the rear axle of the hub opposite the toothed rotor. Resistance sensors 800-1200 ohms. The air gap (see. Fig. 7.18, 7.22) is 0.1-1.1 mm, and can not be adjusted; - Hydraulic unit is located near the upper right-hand front mounting strut. It consists of eight electromagnetic control valves, the electric power is turned on and the relay mounted on the relay box.
