Removal and installation of the water pump



Set to support the front part of the car. Remove the right wheel and the right mudguard. Drain the cooling system. Remove the bolts of the water pump pulley. Remove the valve timing belt, tensioner pulley and the water pump pulley. Remove the water pump by unscrewing the screws fixing it. Thoroughly clean using a chemical solvent mounting surface of the water pump.
The water pump can not be repaired. Faulty pump is replaced in gathering. Before installing, make sure that the pump shaft has no backlash and that the bearings do not produce abnormal noise. Apply a layer of sealant such as Loctite on the supporting surface of the pump. Place the pump on the motor and tighten the bolts given. Install the removed parts in reverse order of removal. Otregulirute belt tension. Check the tension of the timing belt. Fill the cooling system and bleed the circuit. Start up the engine and check for coolant leakage.
