Replacing steering rod
The order of execution of works: - Remove the steering gear; - Remove the clamps and remove the covers of the steering mechanism and the steering gear; - Disconnect the tie rod from the rack. For this steering lock housing in a fixed position; - Clean the parts of the old grease; - Install the new tie rod, torque 70 Nm. Coat the rack with grease AOF 063 000 04; - Set the cover of the steering mechanism;
- Set the size of the "A" (Fig. 7.7), equal to (223 ?� 1) mm; - Check the wheel alignment angles; - Tighten the lock nut steering rod torque of 50 Nm.
