Starter
The main part of the system start-up is a DC motor - the starter motor, powered by a rechargeable battery. The starter consists of an electric motor drive mechanism and the traction relay. Enabling contacts made him a starter magnetic switch that engages the starter pinion and flywheel and ensures the inclusion of the starter circuit when the switch contacts are closed. The drive mechanism transmits torque from the flywheel to a starter shaft via a gear train and after the start of the engine to prevent torque transmission from the flywheel to the starter shaft. Starter is the most powerful consumer of electricity in the car.
