Free installation of the exhaust system

Test condition

Work carried out on cold engine.

The order of execution of works

Remove the connection clamp between the receiving tube and intermediate muffler.

Install the clamp with a distance A = 5 mm in front of the marking on the receiving tube and tighten the slug front connection (Fig. 2.372).

Install the intermediate and main mufflers forward in the clamp until it reaches the value of A between the attachment / mounting body and / primary silencer 4 mm. indicates the direction of movement (Fig. 2.373).

Align rear silencer horizontally.

Tighten connections clamp in this position.

Tightening torque: M8 - 25 Nm.

Tightening torque: M10 - 40 Nm.

After tightening the clamp check distance A, if necessary - corrected.
