Removal and installation of a three-phase generator, the engine of 1.6 liters with injection

Withdrawal Disconnect the battery. Pulling up, remove the engine cover.
Disconnect connector wire DF 1 and remove the protective cap 2 (Fig. 7.12). Remove the wire from the generator B +.

Mark direction of travel V-ribbed belt.
Loosen the V-belt tension by turning the element in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 7.13). Fix the tension element via the locking pin
Unlock coolant hose from the bracket 1 and remove the fixing nut 2 (Fig. 7.15). Remove the fixing bolts
Remove the holder with the tension element of the vehicle (Fig. 7.16).
Remove the generator.
Setting Installation is performed in reverse order, with the following should be considered.

Before installing poly V-belt, check and tighten all assemblies (generator, air conditioning compressor). When installing the belt in the proper position of the V-ribbed belt on pulleys

Screw holder wires on the back side of the generator in position 3 h (clock face) (Fig. 7.20). Tighten to the specified torque.

Connect the battery. Start the engine and check the progress of the belt. Turn off the engine.
