Removal and installation of the oil pump



Withdrawal
Remove the oil pan.
Hold the oil pump sprocket wrench to lock.

Loosen the bolt with an asterisk (Fig. 2.56).

NOTE
Fully unscrew the bolt.

Use a screwdriver to push the chain tensioner in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 2.57).
Remove the chain tensioner mounting bolt.
Remove the asterisk from the oil pump and remove it from the chain.

Loosen the oil pump bolts and unscrew them (Fig. 2.58).
Remove the oil pump from the cylinder block.

Setting
Use a screwdriver to push the chain tensioner in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 2.57).
Insert an asterisk to the circuit and push on the oil pump shaft.

Check the position of the stars on the oil pump shaft (Fig. 2.59).
Screw the mounting bolt of an asterisk.
Hold the asterisk key to lock.

Installation of a torque wrench

Place the torque wrench (5-50 Nm), as shown in Figure 2.60.
Tighten the fixing bolt with a torque of 20 Nm + 1/4 turn (90 ?�).
Install the oil pan.
