Removing and installing oil pan



Withdrawal
Remove noise insulation.
Place the device for pumping oil under the engine and drain the engine oil.

NOTE
Observe proper disposal.

Disconnect the plug from the sensor level and oil temperature.
Remove the bolts between the oil pan / gearbox.
Remove the oil pan.
If necessary, remove oil sump, tapping it lightly with a rubber mallet.
Remove residual sealant on the cylinder block with a flat scraper.
Remove residual sealant on the oil sump with a rotating brush attachment, such as a hand drill with a set of brushes, nozzles with plastic bristles.
Clean seating surfaces. They must be free of oil and grease.

Setting
Cut the tip of the tube at the front marking (hole diameter of about 3 mm).

NOTE
Observe the shelf life of the sealant.
The oil pan to be installed within 5 minutes after the application of the silicone sealant.

Apply silicone sealant as shown in the figure, to clean the seating surface of the oil pallet. Harness the sealant should be 2-3 mm in thickness.
In places Holes, apply sealant on the inside.

NOTE
The thickness of the sealant harness must not exceed the values specified above, as excess sealant could enter the sump and clog the strainer maslozabornogo pipe oil pump.

Apply silicone sealant to the clean sealing flange seating surface as shown in Figure 2.327. (The figure shows the arrangement of the harness of the sealant on the cylinder block).
Immediately install the oil pan and lightly tighten all the bolts between the oil pan / gearbox and all the oil pan bolts. Keep track density (tightness) of planting the oil pan on the intermediate plate / flange transmission.

NOTE
When installing the oil pan when the engine is dismantled, take care to the oil pan tightly (airtight) rests on the side of the flywheel to the engine block.

Tighten the oil pan bolts criss-cross to a torque of 15 Nm.
Tighten the bolts of the oil pan / gearbox with a torque of 40 Nm.

NOTE
After installing the oil pan sealant allow to dry for about 30 minutes. Only then can pour motor oil.
Further installation is performed in reverse order.
