Removing the cylinder head
The procedure for removing the cylinder head: 1) cleyte coolant, for which: - Disconnect the negative battery cable; - Remove the cap from the expansion tank; - Remove the shield under the engine; - Open the engine and radiator fittings, fluid collection, use a hose; - Drain, close fittings; 2) remove the exhaust manifold, for which:

|
- Remove the bolts flange connection exhaust front pipe to the exhaust manifold (Fig. 4.1); - Remove the oxygen probe; - Unscrew two bolts of the flange connection the front exhaust pipe with catalytic converter; - Remove the front exhaust pipe; - Remove the two heat shield; - Unscrew the nuts manifold to the cylinder head; - Turn the manifold to 90 ? clockwise and lift it;
A WARNING 1. For cars with air-conditioning: not to damage the pressure sensor tube on the air conditioning system. 2. When assembling, apply to the threads of the retaining liquid (strong) 1161076-5. |
3) cnimite timing belt, for which: - Lift the fuel rail and injectors, and put on the side;

16) Remove the cylinder head bolts (moving from the outside to the middle) (Fig. 4.6); 17) Remove the cylinder head; 18) Remove the cylinder head gasket; 19) after removal of the check and trim: - The surface of the exhaust manifold / cylinder head; - The surface for laying the cylinder blocks; - The surface for laying the coolant tube; - Surface between the upper and lower halves of the cylinder head.
A WARNING Do not use a metal scraper. Use a soft spatula and, if necessary, a solvent for layering mastic 1161340-3. To ensure the tightness of the surface must be absolutely clean. When using a solvent to work under exhaust ventilation. |
