Repair of the body side
When repairing the body side can be carried out the following work:
| Fig. 11.27. Methods connection with the replacement of door panels
- Moved using the spot welds on the reinforcing elements and the arch of the door; - Moved using the edge of the door panel; - Remove the door panel; - Grind and otrihtuyte mating surfaces; - Apply glue to the places and rolling on the inner side of the folding welding parts of the door panel and the door frame; - Adjust the door panel, set welding clamp; - Fold the edges; - Welded to the reinforcement element resistance spot welding; - Weld the edge of the panel tack; - Weld an electrical arch at the door; - Seal the edge of the door;

2) Replacement of the reinforcing element and the threshold (Fig. 11.28), as follows: - Replace the reinforcing member assembly; - The outer side sill connected to the sidewall dashboard underneath the loop, while the B-pillar - in a bend; - Continuous weld seams; - Weld spot welding at the doorway and at the lower edge of the floor panel; - The threshold of an electrical weld the bottom up;

3) replacement of A-pillar (a common view of the Fig. 11.29) and the reinforcing member, as follows: - Cut out the damaged part; - Adjust the mating surfaces; - Apply a welding primer; - Drill the holes for elektrozaklepok; - Adjust and fix the sidewall reinforcement element dash; - Prepare to plug welds areas where it is impossible to perform spot welding; - Adjust the pillar; - Trim the edges;

- Around the hinges and door opening limiter mounting follow plug welds;

4) installation of a reinforcing element of the upper spar (Fig. 11.31), as follows: - Fix the reinforcement member upper spar; - Weld the reinforcing member of the upper spar;

5) Replacing the B-pillar (consisting of five components, Fig. 11.32), as follows: - Pre-cut replaces part of the roof beams from the B-pillar; - Cut replaces part of the body side, so that it can determine the position in the rack;
| Fig. 11.33. A method of cutting a B-pillar on the repaired body weld: A = 30 mm; B = 30 mm; C = 30 mm
- By car, remove the Rack (top - as shown in Fig. 11.33, the bottom - of welded joints); - Set the rack in the inside sidewall of the body; - Secure the vehicle body side; - Weld the rack in the inner sill panel tack; - Remove the body side, leave Rack in place; - Cut the two panels at the roof beams are welded continuous suture;

- Apply glue to the Rack;
NOTE Before installing the outer section B-pillar, it should be prepared for bonding epoxy adhesive. |
- Apply a layer of glue on the area of 70 mm from the roof beams up to 130 mm from the upper hinge attachment; - Put the body side on top of the reinforcing element in the rack; - Adjust and cut the joint, continuous weld seam; - Cut and weld joints of the threshold; - Weld the lower part of the threshold to the threshold of an electrical beam; - Complete the remaining welds resistance spot welding; - Put the inside of the B-pillar, weld spot welding; - Weld joint of the upper continuous suture; - Grind the welds.
NOTE Do not forget to reposition the plate with thread into the cell striker! |
A WARNING Do not place the welding joint of the glued area. |
