Turning off the front passenger airbag



The front passenger airbag can be switched off lock-switch located in the glove compartment.

To deactivate the airbag turn lock to position 0 (Fig. 1.21). When you turn the key on the operation of the airbag 1 is restored.
If you turn off the front passenger airbag also the side airbag is disabled.

If you turn off the front passenger airbag warning lamp is lit <PASSENGER AIRBAG OFF> (Fig. 1.22).
