Check engine oil level

The oil level and location of marks on the dipstick oil level indicator
Fig. 2.6. The oil level and location of marks on the dipstick oil level indicator: a - minimum; b - normal; c - maximum

Check the engine oil level. If the oil level is below normal, add oil in small increments until the oil level reaches the mark MAX (Fig. 2.6) on the dipstick the oil level indicator.
If the oil level is at the MIN mark at addition about one liter oil level will rise to maximum. Close the filler cap.
Start up the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for leaks around the oil filter and drain plug on the pallet. Keep in mind that the oil pressure warning lamp can burn a few seconds (until the oil fills the entire lubrication system).
Stop the engine and wait some minutes that oil has flown down in the pallet. Check the oil level and top up if necessary. Check the tightness of the cork.
