Checking the oil in a mechanical transmission
The manual gearbox is not necessary to replace oil. Put the car on the lift in horizontal position. To loosen the screw the oil filler plug, use a key with a face head VW 3357. To top up use the oil G 052 911 SAE 75W / 90.

Check the oil level a bent wire. The five-speed gearbox 012 front wheel drive car it must be 7 mm from the lower edge of the threaded hole.
