Check the fluid level in the power steering



The liquid level can be checked in a cold or heated to 50 ?� C condition.
By car from the cold fluid in the power steering system with the engine running, set the front wheels for movement directly.
By car from the hot liquid in the power steering system with the engine running, set the front wheels for movement directly.

Remove the cover from the power steering fluid reservoir (Fig. 2.28, 2.29). Clean cloth, wipe the dipstick located on the bottom of the cover.

Screw and unscrew the back cover.

Check the fluid level, which should be around labels MIN (Fig. 2.30). The tolerance level of the fluid on the dipstick from the MIN mark is 2 mm.
If necessary, add a fresh liquid.
The power steering tank must never be empty.
Screw the lid on the tank of the amplifier of a steering.
Make a control trip at which the power steering fluid warms up to a temperature of about 50 ?� C. Check the fluid level, which should be between labels MIN and MAX.
