Towing



When towing cable or rigid coupling must be fixed only for the towing eye.

The core of the screwdriver as a lever, remove the grate at the bottom of the front bumper (Fig. 2.42).

Towing eye from the vehicle repair kit screw into the slot opened after removing the grille (Fig. 2.43). For screwed towing eye mount can be used or a key for screwing wheel bolts.
The rear towing eye is located right under the rear bumper.

Turn cover 1 (Fig. 2.44), covers the rear towing eye 2 inward and upward.
You must use an elastic tow rope, to reduce the risk of damage to the car.
The driver of the towed vehicle must provide a constant tension towline.
On the towed vehicle must be switched on the ignition, in order not to block the steering, working turn signals, horn and windshield wipers.
When driving a car with a dead engine not running the brake servo, so the brake pedal must be pressed considerable effort.
Also for vehicles with power steering, due to the fact that it is not running the power steering pump to the steering wheel is necessary to put considerable effort.
In the absence of lubrication in the gearbox, the car must be towed with the drive wheels raised.
