Installing the oil pan
Install the oil pan in sequence, return to removal, taking into account the following. Replace all seals and gaskets with new ones. Installing the oil pan with seal Apply a small amount of sealant AMV 174 004 01 tabs front and rear sump. Install the oil pan to the engine.
Installing the oil pan on the sealant Plastic or wooden scraper to remove any sealant and old gasket mating surface of the engine. With round metal brush, impaled on an electric drill, clean the sealant from the oil pan.

|
Apply a bead of sealant D176 404 A2 2-3 mm in diameter on the surface of the oil pan gasket (Fig. 6.13). After applying sealant sump must be installed for 5 min. The layer of the sealant should have a diameter of less than 3 mm, as excess sealant may get into the oil and clog the mesh maslozabornik.
All models Tighten the bolts in the following order: - Tighten the screws 1-18 crosswise torque of 5 Nm; - Tighten the oil pan to the transmission torque of 40 Nm;

|
- Tighten the screws M10 (marked by arrows in Fig. 6.12) to 40 N ? m; - 1-18 tighten bolts crosswise to 10 Nm (M6) and 15 Nm (M7). Set the sub-frame.
Cars with automatic transmission Replace the pipes for oil cooling of an automatic transmission.
