General recommendations for the maintenance and repair of the anti-lock braking systems and electronic stability

Anti-lock brakes (ABS) and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) during operation does not require maintenance.
Check, removal, installation and repair must be performed only by a qualified mechanic.
Before carrying out repair work, define the problem through a system of self-diagnostics.
For repairs, use only original spare parts.
Remove the parts from the packaging directly before installation.
To clean, use only parts bezvorsovovye tissue.
Before releasing the braking system is completely clean the area of separation and the surrounding region. Do not use corrosive liquids (such as gasoline).
Brake fluid should not contact with mineral oils. Even a small amount of mineral oil will spoil the brake fluid and will damage the brake system.
After repair of the hydraulic brake drive, remove it from the air.
When the brake pads generate dust which contains asbestos, unhealthy, so when cleaning the brake, do not use compressed air and do not inhale the dust.
After installing new brake pads must be run-in. The first 200 kilometers, avoid sharp braking.
Corroded brake discs cause vibration when braking, which does not disappear with prolonged braking. In this case, the brake discs to be replaced.
The brake fluid used in the hydraulic actuator, is poisonous, so if you hit it on the skin should be thoroughly washed with water. If fluid inadvertently enters the eye or inside the body, you must seek medical advice immediately. Flammable liquids can catch fire even from contact to hot knots of the car. The brake liquid dissolves a paint and plastic, therefore at liquid hit on a paint and varnish covering of the car wash it with plenty of water. Brake fluid is hygroscopic (absorbs moisture from the air), so it can not be stored in an open container.
When you open the hydraulic brake system, do not use compressed air and do not move the car.
During application and drying of a vehicle electronic control units can be briefly heated to 95 ? C under heating for 2 hours the temperature should not exceed 85 ? C.

NOTE
If the ABS sensor rotor is damaged, replace the outer joint of the drive shaft.

When assembling the hub 2 needs to be replaced (Fig. 15.2).
Before installing the sleeve into the hole put the knuckle lubricating paste G 000 650.
Installation is made simple sleeve pressed into the knuckle.
