Installing the oil pan

Made in sequence, return to removal, taking into account the following.

Apply a bead of sealant D176 404 A2 3 mm in diameter on the surface of the oil pan gasket (see. Fig. 6.13).

After applying sealant sump must be installed for 5 min.

Bead of sealant should have a diameter of less than 3 mm, as excess sealant may get into the oil and clog the mesh maslozabornik.

Tighten the bolts in the following order:

- Pre-tighten the bolts 1-18 crosswise torque of 5 Nm;

- Tighten the oil pan to the transmission torque of 40 Nm;

- Tighten the screws M10 (shown by arrows in Fig. 6.12) to 40 N ?� m;

- 1-18 tighten bolts crosswise to 15 N ?� m.

Set the sub-frame.

Install the front transverse panel.

Fill the engine with engine oil.
