The oil pan of the diesel engine of 1,9 l
Install the front transverse panel in service position. Remove the engine oil dipstick.

Release clamps fastening, remove the three screws and remove the engine cover (see. Fig. 3.3.2). Install the engine oil dipstick in place.

Remove the nuts right and left support of the engine (see. Fig. 6.10). Remove the protective cover from the top of the front suspension struts. Install the support bar 10-222 on the top of the front suspension struts. Install adapter 10-222A / 2 on the support bar 10-222 3147 capture and secure the adapter to the lifting eyes of the engine. Turn the screw of the lifting device, tighten the grip so that the engine weight was perceived by the elevating device. Drain the engine oil by unscrewing the oil drain plug for about a half-turn. Place the container for oil plum under a drain stopper and unscrew a stopper completely. If necessary, hold the plug when loosening that oil does not flow prematurely. Disconnect the electrical connector from the engine oil level sensor. Remove the three bolts and remove an arm of the bottom mudguard of a motor compartment. Remove the screw to release the lock and remove the protective cover of the left drive shaft.

Remove the three mounting bolts compensator reactive torque (see. Fig. 6.31). Release the clamps, remove and move aside the wires from the starter housing. Unscrew the wiring on the left engine mount.

Note the location of the threaded connections 1 (see. Fig. 6.8) and the mounting sleeves 2 on the right and left engine support.

1 Remove the nuts securing the base left and right engine mounts. Support sub-frame jack (eg, VAG 1202 A).

Remove bolts 2 and 3 (see. Fig. 6.11) fastenings of the left and right poles sub-frame and the last to turn out bolts 1. Remove the four turns the nut of the left support of a transmission. Turn down the stabilizer bar. Lower the sub-frame. Remove the left engine support.

Crosswise, loosen, then turn out bolts of 1-18 (see. Fig. 6.12) fastenings of the oil pan to the engine. To loosen the bolts fastening the rear of the oil pan requires a special tool 3249. In the absence of a tool 3249 for access to the screws rotate the flywheel in the position of the notch on the handwheel to set the sequence of the bolts. Remove the oil pan. Plastic or wooden scraper to remove any remnants of the old gasket mating surface of the engine. With round metal brush, impaled on an electric drill, clean the sealant from the oil pan.
