Vehicles with six-cylinder engines
Remove the cover on the right side of the engine compartment.

Loosen cap 1 (fig. 2.13) of the opening for removing water from the fuel filter.

Connect the hose of the vacuum pump manual VA G 1390 with a container equipped with a tap to drain water VA G 1390/1, to the hole on the fuel filter (Fig. 2.14). Vacuum pump pump out about 100 cm3 of the liquid from the fuel filter. Disconnect the hose from the hand vacuum pump to remove the water holes on the fuel filter. Start up the engine and check for leaks in the fuel system.
