Engine overheating

Check the cooling system

When the engine is serviceable cooling system keeps the optimal temperature range. Disturbances in the cooling system can cause the engine to overheat. If you skip this point, there may be unpleasant consequences: the breakdown of the head gasket, warping head and as a result, a complex repair of the engine.

In the dash of any car is a pointer 2 of the coolant temperature. In addition to the pointer on the part of car dash mounted warning lamp 1 engine overheating. If the engine overheats, the arrow pointer approaches the red zone and warning light (if equipped).
