Checking and replacing the sensor coolant temperature gauge

| | 5. ... and remove it from the intake pipe. | 6. To check, connect the tester in ohmmeter mode to the conclusion and the body of the sensor. The sensor resistance at room temperature should be 0.7-0.8 ohms. |
7. To measure the resistance across the terminals of the sensor at different temperatures lower sensor in the hot water and make sure the change in its resistance as the cooling water: it must increase. If the sensor does not react to temperature changes, it must be replaced. 8. Set the items in reverse order.
