Check preheating
Test conditions Battery voltage - 12 V. | | - Connect a voltmeter to the touch and body glow.
|
- Turn on the ignition and measure the voltage applied to the spark plug.
- Make sure that after the ignition warning lamp in the instrument cluster lights up for 6 seconds, and a voltage of about 9 V is applied to the glow plug for 36 seconds at a coolant temperature of 20 ? C.
| Time for energizing glow plugs varies depending on the coolant temperature |
- After checking on item 3, turn the key in the ignition to START.
- The system is functioning properly, if the battery voltage (about 9) is applied to the glow plugs for 6 seconds for starting the engine starter when the coolant temperature is 20 ? C.
- If the voltage or time poldachi voltage is not correct, check the voltage supply contact in the control unit and replace damaged components.
