general information

Ignition timing is determined and set the engine control unit (ECM) based on signals from various sensors and switches.

The engine control unit alters the ignition timing according to engine speed, the amount of supplied air, coolant temperature and other conditions.

High-voltage wires connect the ignition coil to the spark plugs.

The spark plug is used to transmit high voltage, generated in the ignition coil to the electrodes in the combustion chamber where this current produces a spark to ignite the mixture toplivnovozdushnoy.
