Intake manifold and expansion airbag shown in Fig. 2.68. Disconnect the air intake hose from the throttle assembly. Disconnect the accelerator cable throttle knot. Disconnect the hose supplying coolant and remove the throttle assembly. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose and the hose of the vacuum brake booster. Disconnect the vacuum hose.
| Fig. 2.69. Remove the cover fuel line
|
Reduce the pressure in the fuel supply and disconnect the fuel line from the fuel hose. Disconnect the connector from the fuel injector. Remove the fuel rail with the fuel injectors and the fuel pressure regulator.
A WARNING Be careful not to drop the fuel injectors when removing fuel line. |
Remove the intake manifold support amplifier. Remove the intake manifold.
Check Check all items for damage or cracks. Check the vacuum exhaust port on the absence of obstructions. Metal ruler and probe in several directions, check the flatness of the mating surface of the intake manifold. If the flatness exceeds the allowable limits, replace the intake manifold. Flatness - 0.15-0.2 mm.
Setting Install the exhaust manifold with a new gasket, tighten bolts and nuts. Tightening torque - 15-20 Nm nuts - 30-42 Nm. Install the fuel rail with the injectors and fuel pressure regulator. Set the amplifier to support the intake manifold. Connect to the fuel injectors and the fuel line Replace the cover. Connect the fuel line to the fuel hose. Connect the vacuum hoses. Tightening torque amplifier to support the intake manifold - 18-25 Nm. Connect the crankcase ventilation hose and the hose of the vacuum brake booster. Install the air intake hose. Install the accelerator cable.
