System control emissions

When checking the exhaust gas exhaust system must be in working order. The intake manifold must not drain extra air. Make sure the air filter is clean and the distance between the electrodes of the spark plugs normal.
The reduction of harmful substances (CO, CH, NOx) in the exhaust gases is achieved by upgrading certain engine and special components for monitoring and control.
Changes to the combustion chamber, the intake manifold and the crankcase ignition system form the main control system. Elements of the additional control and management include catalytic converters and oxygen sensors that monitor the content of the mixture.
These components are integrated into a highly effective system which controls the content of harmful substances in exhaust gases, maintaining a good momentum of the car and high fuel efficiency.
Fuel injection system - a system using signals from the heated oxygen concentration sensor installed in the exhaust manifold of each cylinder section to activate and control the fuel injectors, fine adjustment of the air fuel ratio in the mixture and ensure reduction of harmful substances in the exhaust gases.
This in turn enables the composition to maintain a certain exhaust gases, which enables the use of three-way catalytic converter. Such a catalyst is designed to convert into harmless three major contaminants: a hydrocarbon (CH), carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxides (NOx). The fuel injection system provides two modes of operation:
- Air / fuel ratio "open loop" is governed by the information programmed into the engine control unit;
- The ratio of the air / fuel "closed cycle" regulated on the basis of the PCM information from oxygen concentration sensor.
