Basic operations to identify faults
Check the engine needs to start with the basic system if you experience any of the following problems: - It is impossible to start up the engine; - Irregular operation of the engine at idle; - Slight acceleration. In this case, check the following basic system. 1. Electrical: - The battery; - Fuse-link; - fuse. 2. The connection with "weight" (the body). 3. The supply of fuel: - Fuel; - fuel filter; - fuel pump. 4. The ignition system: - spark plug; - High voltage wires; - The ignition coil. 5. The system of emission control: - The positive crankcase ventilation valve; - Vacuum leak. 6. Others: - The ignition timing; - The engine speed of the engine idling. Malfunctions of fuel injection (MFI) are often caused by poor connection harness connector, so carefully check their connection. Engine trouble and the procedures for their determination are given in Table. 2.13 and 2.14.
