Control lamp malfunction
The indicator lamp lights to notify the fault of the driver that the vehicle appeared fault. However, in the absence of previously recorded fault indicator lamp will turn off automatically after 3 consecutive cycles starting. Immediately after turning on the ignition (position ?�ON?�) warning light will illuminate for 5 seconds, indicating that its normal functioning.
The warning lamp lights up when faults occur the following devices and systems: - The catalytic converter; - Supply system; - Air mass meter; - Intake air temperature sensor; - Coolant temperature sensor; - The throttle position sensor; - Front oxygen sensors; - Heated rear oxygen concentration sensor; - Rear oxygen concentration sensor; - The heater front oxygen sensors; - The fuel injector; - Engine misfiring; - Crankshaft position sensor; - The camshaft position sensor; - The fuel vapor recovery system; - Vehicle speed sensor; - Control valve idle speed; - Power supply; - Engine control unit (PCM); - Sensor multidimensional regulatory characteristics (except for the engine 2.7 liter V6); - Switch (lock) of ignition; - EGR (except the engine 2.7 liter V6).
Check warning light After turning the ignition key in the ?�ON?� position, make sure that the light is on for 5 seconds and then goes out. If the lamp does not light, check the power supply circuit wiring lamps, fuses and bulbs.
