Intake manifold and expansion airbag shown in Fig. 2.91.
| Fig. 2.92. Fitting disconnecting (1) the air intake hose and a vacuum hose (2) of the throttle device
|
Disconnect the air intake hose from the throttle assembly (Fig. 2.92). Disconnect the accelerator cable assembly throttle and cruise control. Disconnect the hose supplying coolant and remove the throttle assembly. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose and the hose of the vacuum brake booster. Disconnect the vacuum hose. Remove the support of the expansion of the air chamber. Reduce the pressure in the fuel supply and disconnect the fuel line from the fuel hose. Remove the expansion air chamber and gasket. Disconnect the connector from the fuel injector.
| Fig. 2.93. Location fuel line to the engine
|
Remove the fuel rail with the fuel injectors and the fuel pressure regulator (Fig. 2.93).
A WARNING Be careful - do not drop the fuel injectors when removing fuel line. |
Disconnect the connector from the coolant temperature sensor. Remove the intake manifold. Check expansion air chamber and the intake manifold for damage, cracking or vacuum constriction outlet orifice, and the air passages and the openings for the coolant. Metal ruler and probe in several directions, check the flatness of the mating surface of the intake manifold. If the flatness exceeds the allowable limits, replace the intake manifold. Flatness - 0.15-0.2 mm. Install the exhaust manifold in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening torques in Nm: exhaust manifold ..... 15-20 the expansion of the air chamber ..... 30-42
